THE PESKY PELICAN IS A WONDERFUL FAMILY RETREAT! Formerly known as "A Breeze," this charming one-level home is beachy, clean, and tastefully decorated with your comfort in mind. Two king bedrooms offer deck access with gulf views and a well-equipped kitchen is provided for your cooking convenience. The beach is only a short two-three minute walk away, or you may decide to lounge around at the large private swimming pool just steps from this happy home or on one of the large furnished sundecks. Covered parking, picnic table, and a park-style grill allow for easy dining in the shade. A great choice for the entire family!

"I have stayed the month of November 6 of the last 7 years at The Pesky Pelican. Great house, the lay out with 2 bedrooms on one side and bath between them and same on the other side with living room, dining room, and kitchen in the middle. TVs in all bedrooms and living room. Kitchen is well stocked with about anything you will need. Plenty of parking under the house with pool, outdoor shower, & park grill. I must admit we rarely used the pool in my November stays. House on E. Gulf Beach Dr. 1 1/2 block to either E. 6th or E. 7th public beach access. Best thing was my little four legged buddy was welcomed.

"what I expected, kitchen is very well stocked. only issue is the "kids" bedroom, we could not figure out how to use the tv, so that was a slight issue with 4 boys.

Great Stay!

"For the space and the price, the Pesky Pelican is a gem. It's a older home, but has everything you need for a great stay in the kitchen, bath, and bedrooms. The setup is great, with two bedrooms on one side with a bathroom between them and the same setup on the other side. The house is right off Gulf Beach Dr, but far enough back from the road that it doesn't seem loud at all. The pool was large and worth the heating cost for the weather. Plenty of space outside for our two dogs to walk around. If you want luxury, this may not be for you, but we have stayed at multiple homes on SGI, and this one didn't disappoint. We were a couple with adult "children," but two small families could stay here and be comfortable.
