Get TANGLED UP IN BLUE at this gorgeous St. George Plantation home. This perfect beach retreat is nestled on over an acre of lush tropical landscaping with views of the ocean from the wrap around deck of the top floor. Enjoy an easy 300-step walk to the beach by way of a paver-path around the pool that connects to the community boardwalk. No roads to cross to enjoy this secluded neighborhood beach!

This warmly decorated home offers 4 bedrooms and 4.5 baths and can sleep up to 12 people. The exterior of the property offers spacious under-house concrete parking including room for trailer or boat. Splash and play in your private pool with waterfall (may be heated for fee.) Wash off after an enjoyable trek to the beach with a hot/cold outdoor shower. The home also includes a park-style grill and a fish cleaning area. The ground level entry is equipped with a small bar with mini fridge and sink for easy access while spending time poolside.

The first floor offers loads of sleeping space in four bedrooms. The beautifully appointed SW king bedroom offers a smart tv, cozy window seat, private bathroom and direct access to the covered deck. Also delightfully appointed is the SE king bedroom with a smart tv, private bathroom with double sinks, and direct access to the deck. The NE bunk bedroom sleeps 4 in 2 bunk beds. The den with a smart tv features a daybed with a trundle bed and has direct access to the deck as well. There is a full shared bathroom on this floor plus a laundry room with washer/dryer. The second floor boasts warm vaulted ceilings in an open living/dining/kitchen floor plan. The comfy living room includes a large smart tv, surround sound and a gas fireplace for a perfect relaxing evening together.

Three sets of double sliding doors provide an abundance of light and allow you step out to a large covered and open deck with plush rattan rockers and plenty of Adirondack lounging chairs. Expansive views of the Gulf water peek through the tropical vegetation. The well-appointed kitchen features stainless appliances including a gas cooktop in the island, double oven and a large walk-in pantry. The dining table seats up to 12. The breakfast bar seats an additional 4. The expansive screened in porch is a great place to enjoy a meal or family game time outside!

Also on the second floor is the SE king master bedroom that features a window seat, smart tv, large bathroom with jetted tub and shower, double vanity and a private water closet. This room also has direct access to the covered deck. Slip away to the North deck for a quiet cup of coffee or an evening glass of wine with peaceful relaxation. Tangled Up In Blue guests may enjoy amenities exclusive to St. George Plantation: two community pools (one is Olympic size), tennis and pickleball courts, the Plantation Clubhouse and fitness center, nature trails, access to Bob Skies Cut and more. The bike path spans the Plantation and continues through the rest of the island for a short/long bike ride, run or leisurely (mostly shaded) walk. Golf Carts are not allowed with rentals in Plantation.

St. George Plantation is a private, gated community located on the west end of St. George Island. The Plantation is a special balance of nature and wildlife, pristine beaches and beautiful homes, social activities and solitude.

AMENITIES: Multiple TVs, DVD player, well-appointed kitchen and stainless appliances, solid surface floors throughout, covered porch, fabulous view, screen porch, washer & dryer, under house parking, private pool with extensive pool deck and lounge area, park style charcoal grill, fish cleaning sink and station, a paver path around the pool leads directly to the deeded beach path that takes you straight to the beach boardwalk.

Perfect for the family!

"Our family of six stayed here for over a week for spring break and loved it! The house was very clean and well stocked. Beds/bedrooms are large and comfortable. There is a short beach path to the beach that made it very easy to walk to the beach. No roads to cross. We used the heated pool often as well. Perfect experience!

"My family and I wanted to spend Thanksgiving at the beach and we had a wonderful time staying at Tangled up in blue. It is a beautiful and spacious beach home. The house was very clean and nicely decorated. The owners Steve and Kristi made you feel right at home. The gorgeous ocean views from the decks took your breath way. The short walk to the secluded neighborhood beach was amazing and we also enjoyed the heated pool. We had such a great time that we will be spending this holiday season again at Tangled Up in Blue.
