"This was just the perfect spot for our family getaway. The walk to the private beach was very easy, even with a small child! He absolutely loved the bunk bed & tv in his room. We had plenty of space and the property was well kept. Best of all, you can even hear the beach waves from the screen in porch. If you’re looking for a spot on the plantation- you owe it to yourself to give hideaway a try!

"This beach house has the best location possible! A couple minute walk to the beach w/ a clear path made it easy to carry all of our items down. The house is nestled in a peaceful and private area so you aren’t disturbed by others. You can even hear the waves crashing from the screen porch. We will be booking all of our trips at this home moving forward! You owe it to yourself to give it a try :)

"Had an amazing time! Hideaway is the perfect name, as this residence is nestled in the woods. Location was perfect! The beach was a short walk down a nature path, where little critters were everywhere! As far as other activities, such as fishing or dining out, this place was perfectly in between the best spots that a 5 minute drive could solve. You couldn’t possibly be disappointed spending time here!

"Even with our lolly gagging kids and tiny Chihuahua, we made it to the beach in less than 5 minutes. The Hideaway provides privacy for drinking coffee on the front porch without staring at your neighbors. The house is a perfect size for our family and could have easily accommodated more. We cooked almost every meal at the house and had all the necessary utensils. We all agreed, it was our best family vacation! We never want to stay at another house on SGI.

"This charming beachouse on St. George Island in the Plantation is an absolute gem! Nestled in a serene, gated community, it offers the perfect blend of cozy comfort and coastal charm. The bright, airy interior with modern amenities and tasteful decor made our stay incredibly relaxing. Steps from pristine beaches, we loved morning walks along the shore and sunset views from the spacious deck. The house is well-equipped, clean, and ideal for a peaceful getaway. Highly recommend this adorable retreat for anyone seeking a slice of paradise!

"First time at hideaway, and it was just what we needed. The layout of the house is perfect for our family of 5. Mornings were spent with coffee on the perfectly peaceful screened in porch and followed up with morning bike rides and walks through the quiet community and an occasional visit to Weber’s Donuts.:) The beach is easily accessible on a fun path that leads straight to the boardwalk. The days were spent fishing in the beach, digging on the sand and swimming in the beautiful Gulf. Most evenings we would do dinner on one of the Island’s most visited spots and followed up with a game of pickle ball, at the community courts, and a visit to Aunt Ebby’s for a cold treat. Hideaway is the ideal getaway for those who need a getaway!
