Amazing House

This house is amazing. Big and beautifully decorated for the beach. The kitchen had any and everything you need and the bathrooms were huge. As nice as the house is, the pool is where we all spent most of our time. It was a good size for the whole family, had a cool waterfall and a hot tub. The beach is just a short walk but you can see it from most rooms in the house. The huge porches were so nice to sit on to watch the ocean and there was always a good breeze to keep it comfortable. We would definitely recommend this house and hope to stay again.

Litter Surfer Girl

This is a beautiful home and one of our favorites! My parents rented this home for the first time and myself and my autistic son went as well. My son is 4 years old and has been to St. George Island numerous times but hated it until this year. This house has an amazing pool with a big enough swim out area for my son to play. He has never liked water until we rented this house. He was able to swim without being scared and even wanted to go out in the open area of the pool. Every since we left he has talked and talked about going back to “his” beach house because it’s amazing. I want to thank you for an amazing time and for having a pool where my son felt safe! That has done wonders for us! We will Definitely Be regulars here!

We are staying at this property for the month of October. We love the location and the beach and the house was very clean when we arrived. I think I would have given this house a 5 star rating if there had been a place for our family to eat on the deck. Seating was adequate inside for 4 at the dining table and 3 at the bar, but would have like to be able to eat outside. The living room only has two sofas around the television but really no other place to sit. This can be a problem if you have six people staying in the home with no where to sit and the only other TV is in the Master Bedroom upstairs. The kitchen is well stocked and there is ample storage for everything. The home is well maintained and weathered the high winds from Nate very well. We have enjoyed our stay in this home.

Relaxing 07/22/3079

I was very pleased with this rental. It is nice and clean with ample room for a family. Being on the bay with your own private beach makes for the perfect setting.

The Urban Refuge st week in April

Let me start by saying we have just arrived home back in Michigan from a week stay on SGI. My family couldn’t have been happier with this home! Plenty of room and very well stocked with anything you would need. The three bedrooms two bath was plenty of room for all 5 of us. Now, let’s talk about the view! What a flipping view! The deck is perfect for watching out over the bay. We had dauphins right out our back door. Come on, it doesn’t get better than that. But wait, it does! The Eagle that sat in the tree watching over us and all the other birds OMG I can’t say enough. My family rented kayaks for the week from Journeys . We used them a lot. Totally worth the money. The beach right outside the back door was a huge bonus. The pictures for this home don’t do it Justice at all. This was our fifth year renting a home on SGI for spring break. Never the same house twice. We have finally found a home we will return to. Also it’s so secluded and ten minute bike ride to the center of town. See you next year

2nd Annual Family Vacation

This is our families 2nd time renting this same house on St. George Island. It’s perfect because of the layout and the pool is very convenient on the side of the home where you can still see the beach, each bedroom has an adjoining bathroom which is perfect for our large family. We love the top floor is open for everyone to gather and there’s plenty of seating outside on the decks to enjoy the sunrise. We’ll be back next year for sure.

Little Surfer Girl

We just got home from an amazing week at Little Surfer Girl. We have stayed at many other homes on the island, but hands down, this is our favorite. The open layout and well stocked kitchen was perfect for cooking Thanksgiving dinner. It also has a large wrap around deck that gave us beautiful beach views. It was a little cool for the pool but our teenage son still took a dip a few times. We have quit looking for the perfect place to stay on SGI as we just found it at Little Surfer Girl.

Perfect Vacation Home

My friends and I stayed at Laughing Gulls while attending a photography workshop last weekend. The house was perfect! We could not have asked for better amenities, location or management company. The bedrooms are beautiful, spacious, and well-appointed, and each bedroom has its own bathroom The views from the decks are gorgeous, and the gift bag at check-in is a darling touch! The weather wasn’t conducive to using the pool/hot tub, but we didn’t really have time, anyway. We couldn’t figure something out on one of the TVs and someone from Fickling just jumped in her car and dropped by to help us! We will definitely stay there again.

Amazing Views…

Stayed at Three Little Birds Jan 20 -Jan 27. Had a wonderful visit. Home is very comfortable and made for a great getaway in January. House was clean and we did not have any problems at all. View is amazing and so glad the island is back up and running after Michael. Still some signs of damage but most businesses are open. Check in and out with Fickling was very easy. Glad these folks have made it back to work on the island. Look forward to returning in October.

Marvelous Memories

We had 12 family members stay in the house. There were 14 family members in a house down by the cut. We all got together on the beach, at the pools, and at the cut throughout the day. We swam, fished, took walks, some went out on boats for fishing, some rented kayaks, and we rode bikes. During the night we walked on the beach, played, games, and talked. We created some lifelong memories. This house was big enough for all of us and for entertaining others. We loved it.
