Great house, internet issues

There were many things we loved about this house. It has a nice open layout with a wall of sliding glass doors facing the gulf, the covered deck always has some shaded part so we could eat every meal out there, the gazebo at the pool was a nice area to hang out in the evening and access to the beach was convenient – just go out a gate from the gazebo and straight to the beach. Everything was clean and in working order. Our only issue was with the internet. The day after we arrived when trying to access the internet I received a message saying 100% of the monthly usage allowance had been used and download speed would be significantly reduced for the remainder of the period. In order to maintain regular download speed additional minutes would have to be purchased. We notified the rental agency twice and both times they said they had contacted the owner, but nothing changed. It was so slow we weren’t able to do our Netflix movie nights as planned. The internet was basically unusable. We switched our phones to cell data, but cell service at that end of the island is low, so every call I made while we were there dropped at least once. It was frustrating. The next time we travel to SGI we would like to stay 2 weeks but my husband will have to work one of those weeks. We would have gladly rented this house again, but probably won’t since we can’t count on having reliable internet.
