Beautiful beach

This home was serviceable but for the cost there were some issues that need to be addressed. The loft bedroom is really only useable for a small person the ceiling is very low, the stairs are steep, and the space is small but the bed was comfortable according to my 10 yr old grandson. The main floor bathroom needs some space for storage. Kitchen was nice and worked well. Bedroom down is small but comfy and attached bathroom needs tile work soon (I put a towel over broken tiles). Master bedroom is roomy but bathroom is really small and no places to put toiletries while in the shower (put in corner rack?) and the bed was very firm. The screened in deck was where I slept so I could listen to the ocean but the obstructed view due to the stairs made it not the place we wanted to hang out. Kayaks were cool but we never used them – outside shower is great. Walkway to the beach has quite a slant to it and maybe could have used stairs instead? The dune is quite high but overall it is very quiet here. If you want large crowds go towards the lighthouse. SGI has changed a lot in the 3 years since we have started going there but it has a gorgeous beach and great food/people!
