A Little Piece of Paradise…

This was our first time visiting St. George Island and am happy to say it won’t be our last! After searching and viewing many rentals that met our criteria, we happened to find Little Surfer Girl and am so happy that we did! Everything was in working order and we never had issues with the internet on our phones or streaming Netflix. We spent most of our time outside, but the inside of the house was lovely. The bedrooms all had nice beachy themes which made us feel like we were on vacation. The view of the ocean from the master bedroom was amazing to wake up to every morning. The kitchen was large and had everything we needed to cook meals. My husband had hoped for a gas grill, only because he’s not used to charcoal, but it all worked out fine in the end. We really enjoyed eating meals on the covered deck which always provided needed shade and the warm ocean breeze. The pool was GREAT and it was warm without the heater on (we come from IL and there’s no way you’d want to go in a pool without a heater lol), so that was a nice surprise. The tiki hut, as we called it, was really nice too for some added shade when needed and an easy way out to the path to the beach. I counted the steps from the tiki hut to the beach and it was about 100 steps which was nice and close. I loved the East End with the privacy and more quiet feel. The only thing that we thought would have put this over the top would have been a hot tub for the evening while looking at the dark sky and stars. We’re still giving it a 5 though and we’d definitely come back again! Thanks for a great stay…until next time!
