"My family and I a total of 6 people stayed a week. We enjoyed the house had plenty of room. Cooked all our meals and the kitchen was well stocked. Will expect to rent again.

Great Place for a Relaxing Getaway!

"Sea Dream is in an ideal location: it’s on a quiet street, but still only a ¾ mile walk from St. George Island businesses, and 2 blocks from the beach! The back deck is a great place to relax and take in the gulf views. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to prepare a nice meal. It’s not a huge place, but it can still comfortably house a group of 5 or 6. Overall, this is a great place for a beach vacation. My family has stayed here on multiple occasions, and we have enjoyed ourselves every time. We love SGI!

"This place is a gem, we were so lucky to stay here. It was really quiet and peaceful yet close to the action of St George Island with all its restaurants and shops. It's a short walk to the beach or go the other way and walk to the bay and walk along the shore in the Apalachicola Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve. The house itself was super cute, clean and comfortable. There are three bedrooms a large kitchen, living room and eating area. Very roomy and great linens. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and sitting on the back deck in the sun was such a pleasure. There were games, puzzles and books available for downtime. Loved this place, not many places you can walk to a beautiful sunrise at the beach in the morning and a beautiful sunset on the same beach in the evening! Hope to stay again in the future.

Great Deal!

"A lotta bang for the buck with this rental. Close to the beach and bay yet on a quiet street. Just two of us and a dog so lots of room. Agree with the other review, the kitchen is well stocked. Every size of pot, skillet, bowl, knife etc that we could possibly need. The dishwasher though, does have some problems. We ran one load through twice and still ended up washing those dishes. No drain plugs for the sinks to be found but we managed :-) Great deck on the ocean side to relax on after a day of hiking. We also used the deck/porch on the street side as the neighbour across the road had a really pretty Christmas light display to enjoy. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Affordable and Well stocked

"We had a great time at this house but had some concerns that affected us. The upside: very budget friendly. super close walk to beach and bay. Incredible yard for our two dogs. Close enough to town to run to Piggly Wiggly but still secluded, which we loved. The best stocked kitchen on a vacation house EVER. We loved the back porch. We had five people and the house had plenty of room for all of us and two dogs. The downside: the dishwasher would run but never EVER got our dishes clean. I’ve never seen anything like it. We had to hand wash everything the majority of the week. The internet exists...and that’s all I can say about it. It was slower than 1990 dial up. We had to use data the whole time. The washing machine being downstairs and outside was kind of a bummer but not a deal breaker. Carpet on a dog friendly house is a surprise but not a deal breaker either for our two dogs. They only had two rolls of toilet paper in the entire house which we didn’t figure out until we really needed a new roll. Overall, you can tell the owners have loved and lived in this house but some of the downsides might keep us from coming back to Sea Dream again.

We do only offer a starter set of supplied for each home, but next time please let us know and we would be happy to drop off anything extra you may need. Consolidated Communications did have an outage last week, and it resulted in very slow non-existent cable and internet. Here on St. George Island that is quite common, however we do offer a mobile WIFI hot spot if needed, when data cannot be used. We replaced the dishwasher after your stay, however we have noticed you still need to rinse all the food and debris off BEFORE putting them in, We hope you have a safe trip home and Sea Dream does offer a 5% Return Guest Discount!
